The Playoffs of RTS League's Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Clan League, Season 35 are almost ready to close their doors, but two last matches need to be decided first. One is a Bronze Banner battle New Chapter vs. Vikingos Nomadas, the other the highly anticipated, promising to be as exciting as ever, Grand Finals between Turkey Team and CZ Clan!

Many of you have probably seen the Semifinal clashes between the four remaining contestants, and if you haven't, then you've missed on a series of games of top AoC quality (read on to learn more) - many of the players in action are renowned experts with skills to be praised, and if you combine such players into teams and pit them against each other, then what you get is a mix of awesomeness rarely witnessed.

RTS League is proud to host such a high quality competition in the paramount classic of the strategy gaming genre, and even prouder still to see all the players, top skill and lower skill alike, enjoy their games so much that they return each new season with renewed zeal to prove their worth and place in history, as this is the 35th time already since the year 2001 that we are all waiting to see which clan will rise to the very top of the whole AoC community and be crowned the RTS League Champions.

This season's Grand Finals will again feature an interesting clash of skills divided by nationality, as the names of the teams suggest:

http://www.aoczone.net/images/flags/tr.png Turkey Team (T___T) comprises of the top players flying the proud Turkish flag, all headed by none other than Emin himself. Their path to the Finals was one of the toughest they could wish for, as after a near-perfect group stage, they had to overcome the last Champions from Power of Japan in the Quarterfinals (recs, vids). This feat alone puts them in a very good position to succeed, and if you add in the fact they managed to beat Run Forrest Run (recs, vids) and New Chapter (recs, vids) without a single loss, you see why their place in the last fight of the season is well-deserved.

And now lay your eyes upon the fierce warriors sworn to fight for them:

http://www.aoczone.net/images/flags/cz.png CZ Clan (CZ) is then a team representing the nation from the heart of Europe, the Czech Republic. Under Ovenka's guidance, their path through the competition was similarly straightforward and commanding - they advanced to the Playoffs from a joint first place in their division, and continued to go through Killerz (recs, vids) and Made in Brazil into the Semifinals with ease. There they faced their defining match with Vikingos Nomadas (recs, vids) - a full set of 5 exciting games was needed to determine the Finalists in this pitched battle, and the Czechs sure proved to be worthy of their spot in the last fight of the season.

Behold now the brave knights ready to do battle in their name once more:

With all these skillers, the Best of 5 Grand Finals promise to be a truly great match to remember, simply a clash of AoC experts. Who do you think has the best chance on victory? Who is your favourite to lift the RTS League trophy?

Pick the clan to cheer for and come see the top AoC team games live on Sunday 19th October at 18:00 GMT/20:00 CEST/14:00 EDT/11:00 PDT to VooblyOfficial - the place to be this weekend.

Come see the new RTS League Champions claim their Golden Banner!
