After an eventful group stage of the RTS League's Age of Mythology - The Titans Clan League Season 18, we have reached the playoffs and it is time again to determine the top 3 clans!
The best three clans in each division advanced to the brackets:
mG, TSM, ArF, DoD, LoVe
You are counting it right, there are just five clans in the list - that is because the sixth spot remains to be decided by an exciting 1-game tiebreaker between mG | B and Sky! They finished the second division with the same amount of points and they have to duke it out amongst themselves who will get the chance to continue their season!

There is something seriously messed up about these brackets. How can you put an odd number of teams in the playoffs. Its not like we are lacking the teams. We have them, so create an even bracket. mG and TSM are already in the semi finals? This is complete malarky. The playoff should consist of 8 teams. 4 on one side of the bracket and 4 on the other. The team with the best record in the two divisions (1st seed) plays the team with the worst record of the two divisions (8th seed) The 2nd seed plays the 7th seed, and so on. The 1st, 8th, 4th, and 5th seeds will be on one side of the bracket. The 2nd, 7th, 3rd, 4th seeds will be on the other side of the bracket. This is how the playoffs should be set up. One may argue this makes the regular season not matter. Well if you do extremely well in the regular season and end up with the 1st seed, you will only have to play the 8th seed and as high as the 4th seed to get into the finals. The bracket must be fixed now.

The brackets look strange because of the tie between mG B and Sky
Think of it as a 6 team playoff bracket, with the #1 and #2 seed getting a bye in the first round. 6 of the 9 clans which finished the league made the playoffs. Two clans ties for the 3rd seed in league 2, so those two clans are playing a tiebreaker to get into the playoffs.
If we were to implement an 8 team playoff, then all but one clan would have entered the playoffs, including a clan whose only wins were from administrative victories.

We did not want 8 teams, because of what chrono said (joining the play offs without even winning a regular game) and because vK would have been the only clan that did not join the playoffs, and all ofthe other clans would...

There is not just vK there is Sky Mysteria as well. If you suck weiner in the regular season then you must play the best team which will 95% of the time result in a loss.....
