Re: Changes for RTSL Season 20...

I believe it should be broken down for clans to understand easier.

For example: The overall scheduling process can be out of 3. Was it a 1/3, 2/3, 3/3??
Showing up on time can be out of 3 as well. 1/3 2/3 3/3
The final 4 points can be decided on how nice other clan was and how cooperative they were

Lets say the overall score for team A ended up being a 6/10. Team A thinks "Wow we were basically on time, scheduling great, and we were overall very nice. Seeing the results team A got a 1/3 for showing up on time for this match. Team A realizes their fault that only two players showed up on time and the 3rd player showed up 20 minutes late pushing the limit. You also learned that you got a 2/4 in overall niceness/cooperation because team A attempted to force a 2v2 upon team B. Now team A knows that if all players showed at the correct time their score can be boosted to 8/10. Also being more considerate of the "3v3 unless both clans agree on 2v2/4v4" could gain another 2 points thus bringing a 10/10
At the end of the season the clans can look back and see what they must improve on

This makes it easier for clans for clans to grade: for scheduling: 3/3 = great 2/3 = good 1/3 poor 0/3 = minimal/noeffort. The judges can also see if clans are being biased because they can view the scheduling topics as well
This makes it easier to grade clans as well as gives clans instant feedback on what they should improve on.

Good idea actually. Criteria are way easier indeed and more transparent.

Re: Changes for RTSL Season 20...

Thanks Civ_Boss, I like those criteria.  We'll try to incorporate something like that into the rules for next season.

I should point out that the ratings will still be subjective - what Team A might consider "great" scheduling might only be "good" for Team B.  There is no way to eliminate that entirely.

But we can at least make sure that everyone is on the same page about what the ratings are supposed to represent.
