The year ends, but another season of RTS League's Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Clan League begins! Even though WiC is still in full swing, we are proud to host a season that will again feature some of the best AoC players, and, most importantly, clans out there. The key questions though still remains the same - can CZ Clan defend the title, or is there a team that will take them down?
We sure do have a pretty amazing line-up of clans spanning the whole community for Season 36, ranging from friends looking to enjoy the oldest traditional "Age of" competition to the battle-hardened, top skilled pros. All these 28 clans are here to have team-game fun, and some will even gain the undying fame and glory that comes with finishing top. So how does their road begin then? In the divisions:
Division 1 - CZ, DE4D, McL, MeX, RFR, SPP, VIK
Division 2 - aGx, CJNC, Klrz, nC, RED, TK, WOLOL0
Division 3 - kLu, PkM, RoR, STr8, TheJedi, TLK, WOTC
Division 4 - Arg, Gaucho, KtwR, LyF, RoOk, t1tan, VN
Here they will prove their worth and the top finishers will advance to the Playoffs deciding the new Champions. Now, then, it's all up to the clans themselves to battle for their deserved place in history!

Some technical info for all you participating clans:
Divisions 1 and 3 will be staffed by nC_Andorin - a new staff member that has joined our team to make your RTS League experience even better! He brings both gameplay and organising experience and has already served as a valuable help in the backoffice preparations for the new season. Feel free to contact him with any issues you might have during the season, the same way that you have contacted me. I will take care of Divisions 2 and 4.
If you feel like you could also positively contribute to the RTSL staffing team and help us improve on the competition, don't hesitate to check the Staff Openings forum and contact us. If you think you could help us with something else than competition staffing (like graphics, programming, marketing...), do contact us as well at jan__steiner@hotmail.com and tell us how do you think you could help.
New Clan Operators amongst us, check your forum PMs for your Clan Operator log-ins you will need in order to update your clan infos and rosters. Also make sure to read the Guide to Season 36 in your division's scheduling forum explaining both the basics and the advanced stuff that you need to know for proper participation. In case of any questions regarding the League, do not hesitate to contact your division or any other staffer.
Links you might want to keep are League standings and the schedule for your division (Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, Division 4). You can reach both of these also by selecting the appropriate competition in the Leagues menu, schedules are then available below the respective division's table.

Round 1 is traditionally open for two weeks until December 28 to get you all properly settled in and let you update the clan rosters, but we're ready to prolong the round by another week if necessary due to holidays and such. We'll see according to situation next weekend. Subsequent rounds will then last the customary 1 week.
