Ready for the best AoT clan wars? RTS League's Age of Mythology: The Titans Clan League, Season 28 begins! The reigning (and commanding) Champions 2k for jesus are taking a break this time around, so it's up to all the rest to see who will get to rule the community now - will it be reinforced AbsoLads? Restructured Deities of Death? Or someone completely else, like Sisu? Follow the season with us and find out!
Follow us:
We have accepted 14 teams from 9 clans and distributed them into these two divisions:
Division 1 - DoD|B, Lad, Lad|C, Sisu, SK, SUD, TM|B
Division 2 - DoD, DoD|C, F2, G_ME, GDM, Lad|B, TM
Quite some quality around, and on top of that, some returning and also brand new clans! It's shaping up to be a fun season and we're sure curious how will they all do, and we're hoping you are as well - follow us then on our two channels twitch.tv/RTSLeague and twitch.tv/RTSLeague2 to be with the teams live when they battle for the supremacy, or just when they're having some proper competitive fun - both are very much fine!
Gl&hf!

Some technical info for the clans:
All games are to be played using the Voobly Balance Patch - currently version 2.0.
We are introducing a way to support clans coming to their matches on time, to mitigate the lately oft-repeated malpractice of wasting your opponent's time through coming late - when you schedule a time, that time is when the match should start, not when you remember you have something to do - you should also e.g. have your connection issues resolved before the scheduled time, not take an hour to figure things out, so if you know you have problematic connection, come early - Clan Operators should make sure of this as well, motivate your players to do this.
To support this correct behaviour, we will be penalising teams coming unprepared and late to their scheduled games - if you come late, i.e. aren't ready to play by the time the waiting time is up, you will receive a warning for the first occurence - every further coming late will result in a Miss, i.e. -1 point to the standings (if you think it's no punishment, think again - 1pt regularly distinguishes Playoff participants or Playoff seedings). We hope this will help you show organised competition is way more fun and something we should all strive for, and that you, the participants, play an important role in making RTS League great
Here are then some older, but relatively oft-repeated issues, especially meant for new clans:
- Play only on your main nickname, and under your clan's tag.
- Do not forget to upload games and submit Fair Play Ratings as soon as possible after each match - more info is posted in the Guide in your division - read that fully - that goes even for established clans who tend to forget about things over time as well
- Do not wall-spam near Wonders - no 1x1 wall segments and similar. If you want to win through Wonders, do not do it by abuse. Also, clans can choose Conquest on their home map.
Now to the new Clan Operators amongst us - check your forum PMs for your Operator log-ins you will need in order to update your clan infos and rosters. New Clan Operators who haven't received the log-in yet, please message a staffer. In case of any questions regarding the League, do not hesitate to contact them either.
Links you might want to keep are League standings and the schedule for your division (Division 1, Division 2). You can reach both of those also by selecting the appropriate competition in the Leagues menu, schedules are then available below the respective division's table.
Scheduling forums:
Division 1
Division 2
Round 1 is open until 21st May, each round after that lasts the customary 1 week, Monday-Sunday - the concrete dates are going to be stated in the Guide and will be added to the schedules themselves. Each Round is to be finished within its designated week, extensions are not automatic and you need to ask your staffer for them and they need to be supported with a sufficient reason - we want to keep the competition running smoothly.
Gl&hf and may the skill be with you!
